FACES.NET  is the core data and image host of the I.S.I.S. Suite and the designated application for digital booking / registration, iidentification and registration serviceThe booking function makes image capturing a simple task: settings for different capture views including cropping can be saved to be available for further use. Any digital camera which offers the possibility for capturing iimages remotely  through the FACES.NET application can be used to take the mug-shots. CANON Powershot cameras are supported by special customized capturing features. Various print functions: apart from standard mug-shot labels any kind of forms or lists can be generated and printed. Comprehensive search functions allow for photo inquiries, creation of line-ups or search for physical characteristic data.Utilizing the Windows Media Player LIVE video sequences during booking (image/motion/voice) can be recorded. A selectable witness viewing mode hides all individual and sensitive data when working with a witness. A global digital criminal record, which is affixed to each entry shows in an iinstant view the entire related images, forms, biometric data and all other measures that have been taken Any other installed I.S.I.S. Suite component can be launched by simply clicking the appropriate button.

Identification system for One-to-One matching (authentication) and One-to-Many matching (identification) using human portrait faces. The multi-tasking concept  ensures speed and accuracy for small to large scale databases. As a unique feature FIRE Face Recognition supports the image quality separation.Assigning a quality level at enrolment time and then search simultaneously in separated quality layers enables the application to match a high quality probe image even when the gallery database contains a wide quality mix and the respective match image in the gallery is a poor quality image.  This feature enhances the accuracy of a matching results tremendously.The program processes any source of visual signals like digital cameras, live or recorded video, scanned photographs or passport scanners

Application for the examination of digitised photos or captured images from videos in order to establish an anthropologic report with substantial image documentations for the purpose of giving expert opinions, to be used in legal proceedings.For the evaluation different views (Portrait, Semi-Profile or Profile) can be employed. Professional verification techniques together with advanced analysis tools and markers are available to evaluate distinctive anatomical features of the face, which are evidentiary to confirm or disprove identification. To document the specified location and characteristic comprehensive anthropologic catalogues are at the officers’ disposal.

The new inbuilt 2D to 3D technology enables an expert to solve also identification cases where faces are captured only with a side-view or are partially hidden -  by transforming 2D images into 3D models from existing mug-shot images, e.g. images stored in the FACES.NET database, which then can be analysed and compared with Expertise Professional’s SPLIT IMAGE tools.

Via an easy to configure interface Expertise Professional’s SPLIT IMAGE technology is also used for so called “INSTANT VERIFICATION” tasks, where the results (matching queues) from One-to-many face recognition tasks - as processed with UNIDAS’ FIRE Face Recognition application - are instantly compared by operators.The SPLIT IMAGE technology automatically sizes both images to a true comparable size - using the inbuilt head and facial feature detection capabilities. Since more than 5 years this technology has been proven and has been enhanced through customers feedback to it’s todays outstanding comfortable use and preciseness.

Photo-based composite software for suspect identification, facial aging or up-dating photos from known  suspects. The   PHANTOM   COMPOSITE LAB database includes numerous faces and accessories such as headgears,spectacles, sunglasses, jewels or physical characteristics like moles, scars, tattoos, logos or wrinkles and represents all ethnic groups as well as different skin colours. This database can be expanded by the user at any time without additional cost. Composites can be created from portrait, profile or semi-profile. For the creation RGB or Grayscale mode can be specified. Easy to use tools with multiple options and image processing features including clipboard capability assist perfect in creation of a composite. All steps and components are saved in a history log and are available when re-open the file. This is advantageous while working with an uncertain witness since the operator never has to start from the very beginning since all recent states can be used as current state.
